Hey guys,
I need a new clutch for my 360 2.0 carb 5spd. the problem is that I use the car for drifting and I have literally raped my last clutch due to a major lack of skill.
What I want to know if there is some kind of upgrade or am I going to be forking out £80 for a new clutch every few months or maybe an uber cheap 'disposable' item to use?

do the 80quid for a new clutch; and make sure you adjust it right!!!!! (see procedure in the manual)
also; you might want to quit with clutchkick-drifting as you'll end up raping the torquetube connector piece with it!
i personally like in-gear drifting where you simply floor it in a corner and wait for the back to break out. the trick is to feel when this happens so you can catch it and get sliding. really fun with the same drift-result if you get the hang of it and much less of a strain to the driveline!
i don't understand why you should need the clutch as i personally rarely touch the clutch in the drifting process; it's all in the throttle baby (unless i get the chance to select a higher gear in a drift hehehe) imo clutch is only usefull if you have a hydraulic handbrake to ease the initial slide and that's it.

its the hydraulic hand brake that messing me up really, got into the habit of not using any so called initiation process really just a flick and stamp of the loud peddle, but 2nd gear is getting boring now and I really hope with the addition of the hydro and a new clutch I may be getting near 3rd
What is this manual you speak of?
