Guys, will a diff from a 340 1.7 go in to a 360 2.0? please let me know as i don't want to buy it and it not work

The diff unit itself is the same, although replacing the entire differential unit minus the box is your easiest option. But yes it will fit.

If you feel suitably scared then it's wise to still not do it :lol: This (and having bores in blocks cut and honed) are the two single jobs that I would pay someone to do on a car. Huge amounts of old skool white coat and sucking through moustache needed.

As Adam says, remove the unit with casing and do a straight swap if you can, that way it's all clocked in (apart from the wear and tear on it obv..)
