Anyone with a B200K engine?

Post by 360GL » 08 Jan 2004 01:37 pm

Hello,
Is there anyone with the B200K engine around here?
This engine has a fuel pressure regulator (vapor regulator) located under the intake manifold.
It's a small white plastic piece with 3 fuel line connections (one line comes from the fuel pump,
one goes to the carburettor and another is a return line which goes back to fuel tank).
I need to know how to connect these 3 hoses, which hose goes where. Can someody with
the same engine please look that up for me?
Thanks very much.

Uh, I began to write an answer just to see that I really
can't remember how it works anymore : )
The assembly is something like this, though (most likely):
Incoming fuel line FROM tank --> Gas pump
Gas pump connects with the middle hook-up at the gas regulator
Lowest hook-up (gas reg.) connects to carb.
Uppermost hook-up with the return line to the gas tank.
Hope I got it right

Thank you for your answer.
The problem is, I bought this car used and one of the previuos owners took out the regulator
(maybe it got clogged) and connected the fuel pump output directly to the carb. The fuel pump
started leaking. It took me a while to figure out that something's missing. Now I ordered the
regulator from the dealer, but I somehow forgot to check the configuration on the diagram
while I was there.

I received the regulator today and discovered it has arrows
& marks printed everywhere, how to connect the hoses... :) So I asked this too quickly.
But, it is exactly like volvo360 said. Thanks!
