1.8 16v Conversion HELP!

Right so as title says i'm gonna do the renault conversion.
First off she is a 340 1.7 so a good base to start on.
Getting the 1.8 16v is in the pipeline and should have
it by middle of next month. All other parts should also
be with me by then aswell.

The reason for help is i've not done this before, however
i have got quite a few mates who do tend to rip and
swap engines and are happy to help. What i need however
is someone to advise/assist in the conversion.
I do understand there is a search button and that
there is also no guide, as such, for this conversion.
Therefore this project will be photo'd and documented
in order to give the forum the how to guide.

Hope you can help, any input is appreciated.

OK probs gonna need a list of parts !

main area of concern is the injectoin

You'll be ok with conversion parts having a 1.7. What you will need though is a speed sensor to make it run right and an ECU and loom for the new engine. I'm sure there's more but I'm drunk so you'll have to ask someone slightly more qualified

hi im gonna be starting the same conversion this weekend and although im pretty confident i can work it out as i go along wiring is not my stronge point so if any body has a wiring diagram on where it needs splicing it would be a great help.
