Has anyone ever used ....

A Saab 2.3 Turbo lump in a 300 series before, I just had a quick Google of the specs of the 2.3t and it seems they produce 225hp and 252lb-ft as standard and seem to be 16v ?

No why bother when you can have that with a B230FT without much effort. There are 16v heads to be combined, but not worth it unless you uprate the drive on a 360 anyway.

Yeah, if you're going for the saab lump you may as well choose a better engine. Or use the redblock for ease.

I heard the saab engine was very good for tuning. Might be worth research?

That was my initial thought, and why I asked.

They are indeed good lumps. But for the bother, I dont see what they have over a redblock.
