Hi,
I have a 1.4 dl cvt ovlov, it has been running a dream untill recently. The problem im having is only when its cold. What happens is i start the engine with the manual choke, engine warms up, choke gets pushed in then a few minutes later the revs pick up to the point that if i put my foot down the car doesnt pick up,as if its on the rev limit! now it has a switch that when turned on the revs pick up, this isnt on and works fine as i have checked it, 5-10 minutes later the revs drop back to normal car is as right as rain. Im wondering if the old lady that preivously owned is come to haunt me!
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated

not an expert by any means, but check all the vacuum hoses round the CVT change up mechanism. Sounds like you've got either an intermittent vacuum leak or a faulty change up valve.
Someone else will post on how to test it together with a better description. (Wouter over to you
