Carb service/Rebuild

Post by tob123 » 27 Nov 2008 10:39 pm

hello all,

going to service my solex 28/34 z10 over the weekend,

is there any pointers or tips you guys have?

i have a Haynes manual  but i have never serviced a carb before.

also a silly question, do the main jets alter the tune/mix? or is a case of screwing then back in place?

the haynes manual is'nt very clear, and sounds like the idling jet is the only one that is adjustable for tune/mix? is it?

any info would be great,

many thanks,

Hi,

Some time ago I prepared an article covering the service and rebuild of the Z10 - if you think it would help PM me your address and I'll pop a copy in the post for you.
