as topic really - my b200k has bad fuel consumption, and i dunno why. recently changed plugs, distro cap, rotor, oil, all the filters etc.

20-30, uk gallons. not driving it hard either, i should be pushing at least 35 (which is 10p/mile)

Good luck, you'll only get close to 35mpg on motorway journeys!

nagh a properly tuned b200k should manage 40-50 on mways - james manages it and i rarely really push my car

having said that - i shot a load of carb cleaner down her throat thismorning, and she's running a hell of a lot better, dunno if that'll sort the economy thou

5lab, I get same mpg than you, even now my engine runs lean and I compensate it by adjusting little amount of choke all time on.

I guess 35-40mpg would be possible when engine is running 100% ok and driving under 90kph. 50 is bit hard to believe, but maybe, just maybe if wind is from back and tires are filled to max and... ;)

i've had 45 out of a laiden down nessy, and thats less economical at speed.
