I want to change the fuel pipes on our 1.7 340 but i don't have easy access to the car as it been in storage for the last 6 months. I'm off to the car this weeked to get it ready for it's MOT and want to have a set of new fuel pipes to put on it ie. from the hard lines to fuel pump and fuel pump to carb. Can any give me aprox. length and diameter of them.
Cheers
Carl

Re: Fuel Pipes
The ID of the hose is 6mm or 1/4 depending on english or metric. Length cant remember for sure but 1mtr should cover it or you could get a second to play safe.
Make sure it is petrol pipe you use as normal hose is not good enough

Re: Fuel Pipes
The solid lines mate are a bit awkward to replace, and they are plastic so pretty trouble free. The rubber hoses are all worth replacing though.

Cheers for that guys,
It's only the rubber ones i want to replace. I had a feeling it was going to be either 8mm or 6mm but wanted to check before i got to the car.
