Hi,

OK, so my first trial one is made.
Here are photos.

Now, I need a tester who has less than 250Bhp and I will need deposit for me to test it.

If you are interested, let me know as I will be paying it for myself but my car won't be running for ages!

Cheers

Sure I'll be your tester once my 360 is back on the road. I can be gentle or if you want some vigorous testing then I'll be happy to give it both drifting and daily drive abuse.

Hi,

Test will be either gentle or hard. It doesn't matter.
All I need to know is will I be able to go side ways! As some people said to me you might have twitchy back end with this setup.

I heard that clutch type is better for RWD but I know MX-5 uses this setup as well....
Let me know if any of you are getting yours back on the road.

Cheers

This looks great. Are you referring to the Torsen or Viscous LSD in the MX5? I've had two both with the Torsen style diffs and loved the way they performed. If this can replicate that, then this is good news!

Ive heard aboout people moding a 240 diff to fit in the 300, anyone know anything about it? Also, some of the toyota diffs have 23 splines, same as the 300, so maybe its possible to fit it in the 300 house? Would be fun if you could put a aussie locker from an toyota in the 300

Hi,

Due to the nature of item, I would like to get about £350.
It will cost more than that to get one made. If it works, that will be great and if you wish to keep it. Give me £250 more to make it up to £600 total.
I will be asking £650 each if this is a success so you get £50 off as a tester. I wouldn't recommend for people with more than 250 Bhp just in case it breaks and kill your gearbox.
If no one is interested, that will be fine and I just wait for my Midas kit car build to finish and I will just have a very rare LSD doing nothing for next 10 years!
I know many people who drive these 300 series are young lads with not much spare money. I understand that but I have to get some poor s.... I mean someone to try it and tell me if it is worth getting more of them made or not.

I may sound asking lot but I need people's contribution to this LSD to happen for everyone else to enjoy.

Cheers

Sounds cool, out of interest if something went wrong would the 350 get refunded? Or would the tester get a new one? Also what if the tester decides he doesn't want to keep it, does the 350 get refunded? Just curious, this would have been perfect in my old car :)

Hi,

If the Diff goes bung! I will give out £350 and I will try to get refund myself as they told me it will be good for 250Bhp.
If tester doesn't want it, once I have LSD in my hand and I will send refund.
I have a spare std diff case and so should be covered in this respect as well.

Like I said, I shouldn't need to worry about these kind of things as they are proven engineers.

Cool well I might have a plan afoot but it all depends on money. I'll let you know at the end of summer.

Hi,

Matt came and picked up my LSD tonight.
My instruction to him was just thrash it and he has std power so should be withstand his abuse.
Once I know it works well, I will see if I can get it made more for anyone who is interested.

Cheers
