haha this'll sicken Foggy even more. I've just done a great run too. OK so it was long, but it was varied with quite a lot of country lanes, where I wasn't hanging around, some town too, traffic and a lot of motorway, and including those power pulls on that road in Sussex of which I did 4. If I hadn't got stuck in traffic I reckon I would definitely have cracked 400 miles on a tankful.
As it was I got 378 miles, which works out at about 35 mpg

Hmm, need to calculate what that is in 'normal' unitspettaw wrote:haha this'll sicken Foggy even more. I've just done a great run too. 608km and 6,72l/100km, that is really insane, so you still use same fuel map and constants as before?
I'm getting over 2l/100km higher consumption, but more than 50% city driving and car has been quite loaded, 4 wheels with tires on, exhaust parts (manifold etc) so maybe could get much less consumption with lighter car

I just got back from my holidays (I'll post some pics in a bit), and Fake gone from shocking consumption to great (well, nearly, havn't done 220 to a £20 yet, but I reckon thats the expensive petrol prices atm)
First 400 miles -> £40 of 98.9p unleaded.
(45mpg, 300 miles motorway, 100 miles me thrashing lanes
)
Overall 1150 using £125 of 97.9p and 98.9p unleaded.
(41mpg overall for the entire holiday!, which included much thrashing of lanes, and some great roads that had 1 in 4 inclines
)
Wooooo hoooooo!!!!

5,23l/100km, now who was pushing your car half of that trip
Very impressive indeed, considering car is not very aerodynamic and engine is not any lean running masterpiece of engineering.
I did needed to go several shops today so wen't with car and I noticed very clearly petrol smell when I stopped and opened door, this leads to conclusion that my fuel return line has leak somwhere and I need to replace that one too, that is original plastic hose that runs inside of bodywork and that is all that is left from original setup, but can't be nothing else I guess.
Of course that has been making my car to drink too much.
Currently I'm getting around 7,5l/100km and over 50% is city driving, summer weather seem to help as I do mostly short trips.

I'm not sure how it managed it Jani, specially if you'd seen the way I was taking the lanes (lake district lanes are amazing fun!!!) And that was with a boot full of stuff (as I was camping up there with Kate, and with moved round all week)
Right, now that carb is working properly... I can think about some DCOE's...
(Have you got your squirt mapped right? I don't get why your's and Andy's are so different, although leak is possible I guess)

I'm sure my megasquirt is not adjusted optimally as it has settings what I gained in one session of tuning on road, but then again I can't afford to setup it any better, I think I have 13-15l of fuel and it have to be enough for over month so can't drive other than most important trips.
But most likely it is that leak I believe, that smell of petrol was like there would been fuel can opened next to me so I'm suspecting there is some what pool of fuel inside of that body structure where fuel line runs...
