Long time no see!FREJ wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018 12:27 amYes its not fun. Hopefully this last problem is solved by my friend and his lathe.Ride_on wrote:Some bad luck with that diff, sonds like it wa made badly. I wonder how many are installed and in use.
As long as there is too much material you can always take some away. The other way around had been a headache.
I feel sorry for those who eventually has same problems and no friends thats able to help out.
I just want to let you all torsen guys know that my diffs problems were fixed in the lathe by my friend. And the diff was put together and put in my car by myself. That was 2019 when I made the first testrun.
Now its 2022 and the diff is still working perfectly. Best upgrade to the car aside an angry N/A-tuned B230!
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, my last problem was the drive flanges not running free in the diff.
That was solved by spacing out one driveflange with a M8 washer as a spacer when putting the driveflange on.
The other driveflange was a bit tight in the diff so that was just "polished" in the lathe and that made the trick!

Re: 360 LSD.
Nice one! This is a long old thread and I've not followed it before as LSD isn't really my kind of thing.
The other picture on Dai's website is interesting - that's a lot of money in one cardboard box!!
