last bunch of conversion q's

Post by samueljon » 08 Mar 2011 03:41 pm

Last few questions I have about the conversion
What throttle cable is used on the non flipped mani?
Isit just a case of plumbing up a fuel pump or do I have to take the one out of the fuel tank?

Make one from your old cable. You just need the bulkhead bracket and bike bits.

I doubt you currently have a pump in the fuel tank? I run an Evo one in tank.

He means a bicycle gear/brake cable. Just mock one up when you've got the engine in for test fitting.

Oh and you'll need to know that when you use a fuel pump, you'll need a regulator set to 3 bar.

From a bike with gears sm1
The valver needs more fuel than your old car's engine, so you should get a better one :)
