what are the issues with running the tanks in the boot?
mot fail?
fuel cell?
Re: fuel cell?
In Australia sedans are alright but hatches are not due to the boot being open to the cabin. Don't know if it helps but that's what I would enquire about.

If it's an MOT fail, make a quick-release valve in between the 2 tanks so that it's easily removable for MOT.
Re: fuel cell?
Doesn't that kind of defeat the object? I presume he wants one in the boot so he can get rid of the original one under the boot.Jos360 wrote:If it's an MOT fail, make a quick-release valve in between the 2 tanks so that it's easily removable for MOT.

Re: fuel cell?
Fuel cells should be fine for an MOT, just make sure you use non-permeable fuel hoses to prevent fumes in the car.
For motorsport use a fully sealed fire wall is required between the tank and cockpit. From memory fuel lines may run through the cockpit for motorsport use but must be a continuous length of hose in the cockpit.

Re: fuel cell?

where it is is probs best as it keeps the cars low centre of gravity if anything!
