hey

a friend of mine has a 360 GLT, but the diff went last week.

i know somebody is breaking a 1.4 and has the diff and gearbox for sale together, would these fit the GLT?

if not, what are the differences?

Won't fit I'm afraid - or at least not without a great deal of work.

1 g/box nose casing different, g/box input shaft different (340 has spline fitting separate propshaft - 360 has drive quill in torque tube)
2 mountings are different. 340 has 4 g/box/diff mounts at the rear - 360 has 2 at the rear the others being the front engine mounts (on 360 engine/torque tube/transmission is a single unit)
3 340 diff is different to 360 (360 mounts are different) and won't fit the 360 box.
