Hi!
I have made a b18ft engined 360. So I could help you a bit.
First of all the grey-red wires are switched + by the 2 main relays (near the ECU).
Idle motor, O2 sensor, injectors...
Gray can be after ignition +.
But the red wire could be the third pin for idle motor (if it goes to ECU pin 10)...
If you want some pics, please send pm.
(sorry for my english)

I wish my B18ft not done project was left hand drive!

Good use of the 360 air box too.

For startermotor, you can use the stock wiring harness (blue-yellow wire I think). And you need only connect it to the battery too.
Right hand drive... I couldnt drive from there
I'm witing for pics.
(It was 360, so I have the battery tray in good location. And the air box is stock  )

you have been busy :) I see fuel lines and all the water hoses are done.
The coiled up wires coming from the alternator should be for the old 480 infocentre, so hopefully you can just cut them off. The 3 (blue/orange/white) are for the original ignition coil.. just look it up in the haynes book ;)

i have done the fuel lines thay are just long at the moment because thay need to be cliped up at the back the in tank pump is in and plumbed in (that was fun!) rad pipes are dun took me 3h at a scrapyard to find two pipes that would fit lol one of a laguna and one of a old austin metro van. i have also put a new starter motor on as the old one was just old and slow oil and filter done new plugs lucky i did as the inlet manifold was full of metal filings  all thats left to do is the wiring and exhaust im going for a 2inch straight through exhaust with a 2 inch cherry bomb back box :D

wow.. glad you spotted that. previous owner never mentioned it. Guess they're left behind after the throttle body swapped ends.
