TUNING A WEBER CARBURETTOR?

Post by Justin » 02 Jan 2013 03:54 pm

How hard is it to tune a weber carburretor on a 1.4 1988 Volvo 340DL? Im ok with the tick-over screw which is on the right as you look at the carb from the passengers side...

Justin,

When you say "tune" do you mean "get more performance therefrom" or "adjust and set up correctly as per factory" ?
If the latter PM me your address and I can send you an article I've written (covers the theory, reconditioning, and adjustments of the 32DIR range.

Justin, tried to PM you but you seem to have "receipt of PMs" blocked. (is your inbox full?)

I'll pop a copy in the post tomorrow, do let me know if you find it useful.
