I put in the new float. I exchanged the butterfly valves and positioned them accurately in such a way that the gap is very close
to zero when they are closed. I checked with a lamp shining through it. The tiny M4 bolts have been secured with Loctite.
Then I checked the basic settings again, as Mac mentioned in one of the previous posts.
After some adjustments on the CO and idle screw, I managed to get the engine running without choke at 900 rpm.
The idle cut of solenoid fully functions; the engine drops dead immediately after the socket has been pulled of.
However, the engine does not seem to have much torque at low revs. I have to apply the gas pedal a bit to leave from zero.
Also the coolant temperature does not reach normal values; the indicator needle on the dashboard does not get half way.
