340 1.4 to 2.0redblock

my mates got a 2.0 redblock engine for sale and hes said I can have it just wanted to know if I could get away with using the 1.4 gearbox and axle but use the redblock engine and a 360 torque tube ectt.. if not could some be able to write a list down for me what I could need of a 360... cheers

You need the full drive line off a 360

Easier to just buy a 360 then?? My 340 is a mk3 btw.

Haha thats just my luck aswell! Just managed to get my 340 after looking for ages for £240, im also going to be ordering some 3" lowering blocks friday... do you send them straight away???

There are less good 360s around, tend to be more rusted, but England is in a better state than NI. You can use the 340 gearbox and diff but you need to change the front of the gearbox to fit the torque tube. There are some other threads about what else you need to change.
