It's a hell of a lot of work the LH 2.4 wiring. I've done 90% of my loom for the engine with something like 5 wires to splice into the dash / ignition barrel and a few lives. Then the standard 300 engine loom can be removed.
Its basically a matter of stripping all the un-necessary stuff out the 940 loom then taping it all back together.
Off the top of my head the connections to the stock 300 wiring is:
-battery light/ alternator d+ > LH ECU thin red wire
-Ignition live from switch > Fusebox/ LH relay (big white one), ignition stuff, LH ECU
-Fuel pump live > Pink wire from LH relay via a fuse
-Rev counter signal > R-W wire from coil
-Battery > Fuses and radio interference relay
there's meant to be a feed from the back of the donor car speedo which does something with the idle control valve. Its a Violet and white wire from the LH ecu. On 300's we dont have electronic speedos so this can't be connected, dunno what the effect is, think its something to do with idling high for brake vacuum when you are slowing doen.
I'm in the process of making a diagram / how to for the LH wiring but just havn't got round to it. There is this:
which i did a while ago, it doesn't show the connectors which makes it useless when you are pulling a loom from a donor car but could be good for fault finding one the new looms made.
Hope that helps, feel free to ask for anything else and I'll see what I can do. I'd offer to make you a loom but am busy building two at the moment lol
