I need a new exhaust for my 1985 vario. I bought a centre and rear section from eBay recently, but it really doesn't fit properly, it doesn't reach all the mounts, and rests against the body in parts. It particularly rests against the vario unit cover.

Has anyone bought one recently which fits very well?

You should be able to set it the way you want it.

Make? Any tell-tale stickers or part numbers on it?

Last bit of exhaust I purchased was a rear section from ECP, but I was gambling on getting the right part sent to me. I bought a middle before that from the DCN which I fitted when I was there.

Make a side exit and scrap the back box

Might not be for you but I do have stainless system that will fit the vario (RiKY was used as the jig) and free the engine up a little without being overly loud
