MR300: motor talk.

Right guys. My 360s motor. I have a early 230 bottom, I know it's not the best, but I have to make the best out of what I have. So:
Block
A. Is there any way on a mid thrust block to get rid of the minimal play these apparently have??
B. What BMW oil squirters do I use to retro fit?

Head
A. What steps should I take to maintain the working nature of the twin cam? Eliminate risk of bending valves? How deep can I cut the reliefs before the Pistons are too thin?
B. Is there a mechanical tensioner for the twin cam cars or just hydraulic? If there is both, what's more reliable?
C. There was a silver contraption on the side of the 16v block, with pulley, what is it and do I need it?

Induction
A. Flow and performance wise, I'm leaning toward twin CT12s off my mates mark 3 supra, would a 15G be better?

Finally, twin cam twin turbo 2.3 redblock. What kind of power could I expect?would like more than the 850R with 16T.

Is it just me or have you left out some key information? I've no idea what you are talking about.

Generally a B230FT can be made to generate pretty much as much BHP as you want, likely more than the 360 drive train can handle fairly easily. So IMO 16v is a waste of time when B230FT tuning is so well developed.

Yea a bigger turbo with good rods and a good tune and injectors can do quite well. But I'm not a fan of doing what everyone else has, I like unique. I doubt there are many 2.3 twin cam twin turbo 360s in the world. And this is a sort of off shoot from my build thread. It won't ever be severely track raced, so I'm not too worried about the drive train, can always get spare parts anyway. But I'm looking for decent reliability and power numbers. As said I would like to see more than my 850R, and that would be the most I would ever ask from it really.
