EZK / LH2.4 360 crank sensor

Post by Ride_on » 30 Jun 2015 09:33 pm

Has anyone tried to use the 360/340 Renix crank sensor with the Bosch 940 management? Main difference is the shield, but wondering if the signal is smaller or something?

I really don't want to modify the bell housing to use the 940 mounting... Also engine is in the car.

Renix is 2-wire, lh2.4 is 3-wire. You can easily make a bracket to hold the 940 sensor. Same idea as the original bracket but then weld a nut 90 degrees turned on the bracket. Spacing between sensor and flywheel is critical.

Yeah that is my last resort, but a wire splice will be more 'well finished' than a resin'd mess lol

As I said the extra wire is a shield which I can replace or not bother with, especially given the coil pack is much further away than in the 940.
