But I'm a bit confused.
I have a B200F with LH-Jetronic. AFAIK B204E has the same system, hasn't it?...
So Mr. Joris if I understand correct: 204E is a "shortblock"(?) so pistons have to swapped as well, right? I read about the timing belt, it must be some kind of hybrid solution I think.

I'm gonna finish with my Golf Mk1 project in next year hopefully and my next big plan is upgrading my 360: want to keep roadlegal but as hardcore as possible.

You guys already mentioned that upgrading brakes is not a common step, but definitely want better suspension (lowering blocks, Landy shocks, better springs) and fully serviced gearbox, differential etc. Here in Hungary it costs about EUR500,- to build an LSD so that is a plan too. (Welded diff is not an option for daily use.)
And of course I would like to have more power.

So I'm trying to collect all info (in Hungary V300 is not a common type) in order to choose the best option.
