clio 182 conversion

Post by olie30 » 05 Jun 2016 12:38 pm

Hi all, im oli, im new here, i tried posting an introduction but it wouldnt post for some reason "/ anyways after years of wanting a 340 (even tho i drive e30's lol), i have one, and ive found myself a cheap 2003 clio 182 but i dont want to buy it without knowing exactly what im in for! Other than having the ecu de coded to do away with the immobiliser can anyone please tell me what other problems i might encounter as i know this would be a bit different to the usual f7p/r swap. The car is a 1.4 so i am aware i would need to get hold of some 1.7 bits. Thanks in advance guys

There is another Olli who has done this in N.Ireland, not sure his user name. Worked well enough but had intermittent fueling problems, think he was sucking out the top with an external pump which is not good, you need an in-tank pump or 12mm outlet from the bottom. Other people have had sloshing problems with in-tank pumps.
