CVT clutch

Post by Havin-a-tug » 28 Oct 2016 05:04 am

Can anybody point me in the direction of someone who can help find a clutch plate that is the same or very similar to the one on an automatic.

Thanks.

Born Built Beauties sells them (these are overhauled ones and you have to send in your old one or pay an additional fee), or why don't you get it recovered?
I see that you are in the UK where there are still specialists who do that.

I had thought about having it relined as my brother did this recently for a Saab he was working on, but unfortunately it needs to be done within a day as it won't be able to stay in bits on the ramp as he needs it for other work and I'd like it done in one go so I don't have to do it in stages.

Is it just the friction plate you need?
I would get it relined.
