You might be able to stop now, too ;-0
Epic work, by the way.

Re: Fuel Hose Specs - Modern Fuels
Thanks Jon, stopping was hopefully sorted with the brake tinkering last year !
Running fine so far...
I will do a write up on the pump and filter replacement soonish (winter job) but meantime a couple of preview pics of the job...
"New Bosch pump has ring connectors rather than sockets so rather than butcher the existing loom I made some short adaptors up with bullet connectors which fit snugly into the existing loom plug. Careful attention paid to ensuring a tight fit and well secured with insulating tape."
"New pump, hoses and filter in place, hanging loose before heat shield fitted..... It was a bit of a faff....!"
"Finished job with 'new' pre-filter. Thanks to Foggyjames for the tip...Bit of Ebay hunting for the correct fittings for the filter but the finished job has worked out nicely. The cable ties just evident are to ensure the hose bend maintains a slow swept shape as it heads into the filter to avoid kinking."
I spent a bit of time cleaning up and painting the heat shield which the pump mounts on. Had to drill and tap a couple of snapped bolts on the pump base but overall not too bad a job. The whole design of the pump install seems a bit of an afterthought. Bit of a faff with the tank draining etc. I know some folk use the Baldwin in-line filters but this seems a nice rapproach and you can keep an eye on the filter state at a glance.
