Okay
So it's a 5 door 1987 Volvo 340 GL with the B172 engine:

In my opinion it is in good condition on the outside, it has some minor body damage, small bumps from hail on the roof and and another bump in the rear door.

The engine has 120.000 km (about 75.000 miles), head gasket was done 5000 km ago by the previous owner and instead of renewing the rest of the gaskets they just used the silicone goop which in my opinion is not nice haha

The engine idles at 1500rpm and stalls when driven at relatively low rpm (There might be too much petrol?) I'm trying to fix this first since this is what most concerns me... I would like to not have to stop on the side of the road and wait for the petrol to evaporate. When the rpm's are pushed the engine works "fine" (I guess).

There was a little bit of oxidation and corrosion on the battery place so I painted it with anti rust paint and I'd say it turned out pretty well.

I also disasembled all the front and cleaned a bit everything, I changed the cooling fluid and found that the expansion tank has a leak (due to built up pressure, could be?)

I have serviced the Carburetor following a guide from Mac (I believe), new gaskets, checked floats and so on...
Now I´m waiting on the idle solenoid and I'm disasembling the intake and exhaust manifolds so that I can replace the goop and the gaskets.
So far I think it's in decent condition... The gearbox is a bit rough when I'm about to change gears... but all of them work "Ok"
Where should I look for corrosion or what are the weak points I should check?
Thanks for the help
