Change of a head of the block b14-4e on engine b14-3???

All of kind time of day!
I have to you a following question.

 It is possible or is impossible to remove with b14 3e a head of the cylinder block, and on its place to put a head from the engine b14 4e. Or such operation is impossible?

Also what for this purpose it is required? :?:

I do not know as correctly in English this part of the engine refers to. It is the top part of the engine where are the valve. And system inlet and exhaust manifolds.

Yeh i cant see a problem with fitting the later head but what benefit will it give you? Surely a later carb would be a better idea?

Simply at a head b14 4e it is better the made outlet and inlet collectors. I wrote that I wish to change the engine. While I have not changed it and I wish to work above it. And the carburettor I wish to put more productive from other machine. And on b14 3e admission and release a single whole therefore manages to be finished nothing there.

I can't see a problem with it, but compare the combustion chambers to make sure the compression ratio isn't radically different (ie: small chamber, large piston dish on one engine, and the opposite on the other).

^^ That's probably a nightmare to translate - sorry!

cheers

I simply well know German and English I translate from the translator. Therefore it is difficultly a little to understand of me.

And fixing places at these heads identical or different?

:D

I'd imagine so, but can't say for sure.

its a straight swap and it will get rid of all the emission pipe work that the b14-3e has
i also think that this engine uses a single choke carb
probley need to change the manifold and down pipe as well

Yeah it looks cool 8)

That block that you have is the 1.3?

We don't have that engine were in Portugal

Yes unfortunately in it there is 14 3 weakest of scale of motors.
Therefore also I wish it to tuning It and later in general to change.
At b14 4e exhaust manifold 4-2-1. And if to remove separately inlet that it is possible to put horizontal carburettors if separately to make a new intake manifold. And on b14 3e it to make it is impossible. And an exhaust at it 4-1, that strongly slows down gases.
I as that did not photograph the machine, so few times on the chamber in a mobile phone.
But later I can lay out good photos.
Simply machine on winter preservation.

there is NO NEED !!! to swap the head off a B14.3, to a B14.4E head.

---> THE HEADS ARE IDENTICAL!!!

for the extra performance, it is enough to change the manifolds and carburettor, downpipe.

afaik there are no 'PulsAir' holes in a B14.3 head (just as B14.4E) the only one that has these is the B14.4S.

saves ya quite some work/expense, doesn't it..

have to add that you must also change the ignition module.

Many thanks Antiekeradio!
That is from a head b14 3e it is possible to turn off a final and inlet collector and on their place to fasten with b14 4e and they become on fastenings normally?
Or I have not correctly understood?
Yes that that system of ignition it is necessary to change it I has understood. It will be necessary to put the gauge of a condition in an inlet collector.

 P.S. I communicate through the electronic translator therefore I can that that to not understand :)

Hello Omar, I understand! I will try to use standard words.

you are correct, the manifold can be changed. the bolts are the same.

the exhaust (first part) must be changed also.
