Paddle clutch / drifting

Post by classicswede » 25 Feb 2007 01:26 pm

Are pasddle clutches any use for drifting? I'm of the thought that you need the clutch control that these just dont offer. I would thing a the on/off effect of a paddle clutch would be too harsh. If that is the case any ideas on how to get big power through a 300's clutch?

Youl be hard pushed to find any competition drift car without a harsh paddle clutch.

In drifting the biggest use for the clutch is kicking it so a decent clutch is a good look.

Im planning on modded turbo power on the new 360 before too long, so a proper clutch is wise.

Ive stank out the stock one with a stock engine with too much clutch kicking when drifting the 1st 360, so id not hold much hope for it if i had power.

At the moment have a 360 for drifting. Will don't make yours into a drift car build it as a road racer. Get the thing to corner well and a bit more grunt and you'll have pleanty of fun with it.

i called em up about part stuff and they said they have nothing as ford owns them now :?

and volvo said there cars last a minimum of 15 years so you would expect parts atleast to there.
