Not sure exactly what the question is heer. As to the exhaust size I would go for 2.5" provided you are not after mega high power. If keeping a 2ltr bottom end then 2.5" will be pleanty

The question is if someone to installed these turbos in your cars and as(like) to result .The td 05 is very difficult to install since that to modify the supports of engine . Td04 was staying well, since in 740 with T cam not much boost over 4500 revs.

i think that the garret t3 from 740 turbo would be ok for you. If you can sort the ignition and fuelling then you can turn upo the boost to about 1 bar. And with decent fuel maps, intercooler and 3 inch exhaust. You'll be looking at between 210 to 230 bhp (If you change the 2,3 liter bottom end). And it will be fast compared to standard. Previous owner of my turbo said that with those upgrades it (740 Turbo) will start spinning wheel(s) on dry tarmac in second gear when it comes on boost.

A Garrett T3/T4 hybrid is a very different turbo to a Mitsubishi TD04-13c or TD05-12B. The Garrett is a much larger turbo - you'll probably see full spool-up at about 3500rpm on a B230. The Mitsubishi turbos will be spooled earlier (as low as 1500rpm, even), but they won't make as much power at the top end, or be able to run as much boost. It depends on what you're aiming for.
Personally, I'm going to use something between the two - a T3, or a 'big' TD04 (18T or 19T).
cheers

I quite like to mitsi turbo for a smoth drive regular use car. Good power form low down and can give reasonable top end results. For a weekend car you will want a bigger turbo.
The other option I've not realy soon done on volvo engines much is how about a supercharger?
