im getting new engine mounts for when i do the normal 16v engine swap on my 340, but do i get 340 engine mounts, or r19 engine mounts?

you want volvo 340 1.7 engine mounts. if you find a couple of pairs let me know i seem to have been let down.

Just wondeirng that if they're hard to come by could look a making some customs ones.

Volvo should still sell them. I bought a pair of fronts a few months back. Rears I need to go and buy now, so I hope they still are around. There are several types I have seen, which as far as I can make out are Volvo OEM and a third party, so I'll look to see if there is any makers stamp next time I get to play on my project.

The fronts weren't, £8 a side. I'm guessnig the rears will be similar! I forgot to buy news for my tubby, and had to put the engine in with old ones Still, hopefully will be able to replace them soon.

The two types are early (steel front cover 1.7) with solid square blocks and teh later (plastic fornt cover 1.7) with funny looking mounts. I think the later ones intended to reduce noise.

went into volvo today, all engine mounts for the 300's have been discontinued

I'm in desperate need of front ones too, ideally Polys! Would be good opportunity to get some while the engines coming out aswell. Dai as per PM as soon as you get some mate let me know because i'll rip your arm off for em lol!
