Cam upgrade

Can anyone tell me which is the hotter cam to have for a B200e? I can't remember what was in mine A or K or which is the hotter version, and what ARE the chances of me finding the better one?

H cam from specific yearmodel B23E engines (79 and 80, later models have the K cam) is the "hottest" Volvo made cam available. (not including the special competition spec cams)

K and D are second hottest and A is a bit milder. Your B200E would most likely have an A-cam, it reads at the end of the camshaft.

KG-trimning makes hotter cams if more is needed. http://www.kgtrimning.com/defaultE.htm Their PDF catalog is in Swedish though but cams are at page three of the PDF. Prices are SEK.

Many engine/machine shops should also be able to make a cam with needed specs when stock cam is used as a base which is modified.

Just for info there is not a masive gain to be had by going from the A cam to the K or H cam from my experiance. Tickover is unchanged with the H cam o still a very nice cam for everyday road use.

If you look at all the profiles available the A cam i quite well speced
