Clutch cable adjustment?

Post by AJD » 10 Sep 2009 05:54 pm

I'm finding that after the car has been on the road for a while the gear change between 4th and 5th is a little crunchy, as is reverse. I think the clutch might be dragging a little bit, how do I adjust the cable to compensate for this?
I’ve not done this before but I can see that the end of the clutch cable has a threaded section, do I need to tighten this up?

Thanks,
Alex

Trial and error got me there in the end, not a tough job at all :)
