:DBasic stuff first
volvo 340 shell - no mot, tax untill end of october.
not as much rust as you would think, infact its pretty solid. the bonnet is held down with 2 pins at the front so bonent removes fully in seconds, everyone knows bonnetless drifting is for winners!
the engine and drivetrain make it a little interesting though. it has the 2.0 carb engine from a 360 and FULL running gear swapped over from the front subframe to the whole gearbox and welded diff setup, so no more broken half shafts and awesome motorway ratio's 3k = 75mph. The rad is also brand new and a 360 item so is much bigger than a 340 so no more having to stop playtime to let it Cool down.
the engine has just been serviced with new ignition parts and full plugs filters and oil. it uses no oil and no water and is quick for being a 20 year old engine
chassis wise its pretty bog standard, landrover rear shock, front springs cut a little. It currently has 15" alloys on the front with one drift day old yokohama tyres which are UBER grippy in the dry and the back is on some p slots with legal avon rubber
Inside it has literally been stripped of everything that isnt needed, all sound deadening etc is long gone. there are 2 x 3 point harnesses in the front and a typical drift spec steering wheel and also a genuine number 13 pool ball as a gear knob
Body wise it isnt in the best condition, the front pass side met buxtons wall of steel so we pushe dit back out as good as we could, the slam panel is twisted and kinked, but lines up ok panel wise.
the exhaust is currently blowing but sounds awesome so I never fixed it
there are a few chips in the uber retro top tint windscreen, but none are mot fails I dont think
there isnt a speedo cable, but that never bothered me as it didnt see the road often
The clutch needs replacing like 5 mins ago, reverse and 1st sometimes appear, but lukilly 1st and reverse isnt used for drifting so 2nd gear all the way 99% of the time
To be brutally honest the car is a shitter and thus a bang perfect first drifter, its exactly what I bought it for, its taught me an absolute shit load without having to worry about wether you touch the wall or hit a kerb etc.
I have a wedge load of spare drift rubber on wheels so I will include them in the sale and I can even throw in a helmet if you have a small enough head
I heavilly heavilly advise coming to look at it before purchase

the logbook is present and with me now, however it needs changing over to the new engine which takes roughly 2 weeks and will just need a letter from a garage saying its all been done properly
