Will probs start a thread today, need to sort the exhaust anyway haha. Ill get some pics. Need to adjust the carb too i think. It dont idle without the choke. Any ideas? New to volvos

Wind the idle screw in
Ideally try and get it to idle between 500-1000 rpm i believe, about 800 is good iirc but i may be wrong
I havent got a picture, but the idle screw is the one that the butterfly 'arm' rests on, does that make sense? Thomas...............

idle problem was a vaccum hose that had come off as the clips are missing, not too bad now.
also, you should have seen the state of the exhaust
just spend 5 hours trying to sort it and its still blowing a little!
