Ive just recieved an email from the owner.

Dear Tim,

yup, am happy to confirm the Volvo 340 DL is still available.

No mot i'm afraid - it's been 'SORN'ed off the road for about 18 months but it's
in reasonably healthy condition and i don't think it would take much to get it
thru' the test.

as for rust if there is any it's minimal - it's been garage-kept, dealer
serviced and old-lady driven from new so is pretty good nick.

thanks for your time and help - i hope we can find it a good home / worthy
future...

I've been in touch with the chap and he'll have some photos by the weekend - I don't think he's in too much of a rush to get rid of it. I'll give him a call later and see if I can find out any more info.
