Long time since I've posted. I was lured away by a cheap and dirty French model that has turned out to be costly and demanding.
The trusty Volvo has sat outside unused, waiting for some minor repairs that, due to our soggy summer, I didn't get round to doing. I occasionally start it up and drive it around a private road.
I'm going to move soon so I need to sell it and thought I'd offer it here first.
It needs a new handbrake lever (the button has poinged off) and a new windscreen (crack at bottom right). It probably also needs a new exhaust middle bit. The engine has done 85k and runs very well. Some rust has started to appear (doors/wheel arches), but nothing that looks more than a scrape, treat, and respray. Inside it's quite clean and all the bits (leccy windows, fans, etc) work.
I really enjoyed this old thing's spirit and would rather it went to an enthusiast than a scrappy. So I'm asking for what I'd get from a scrappy -- £50
It has no MOT and is SORN.
