dai,

what exhaust parts will i need to make up a 2" exhaust system for my 1.4 340? and how much will it cost in total including a 2" back box??? i want her to purrrr lol :D

If you want to build your own system you will need two boxes some straight pipe and a couple of bends. Personaly I would go for a ready made s/s system as it will last forever. I can price up the bits you need but all in all the s/s system will probably be cheaper.

It's a piece of cake if your bolts aren't rusted up, took 2 of us about 5 hours including 1hour lunch break, all at a nice relaxed pace. Crucially though, no stuck bolts whatsoever.

Oh and your saloon would look mean sitting on the bump stops...

These: Strut top mountings r/d £100 pair

Are they the same as the stock ones? do you got a pic of them? My front stock strut top mountings are old and busted..

Cheers Will, It's an easy job as long as there are no rounded off bolts. Everything comes apart in a very obvious way, just like any job on a 300.
