Swap a bottle of Bucky and 20 Fegz 4 It!!!!!!!

But seriously, this is effectively a group 13 Insurance car, as wicked as it is!, i'm old, and even i would struggle to insure a group 13,
If it were mine i'd buy a transit with a car trailer and take it to the track every Sunday and not care 1 bit about driving a transit six other days a week!!, hey thats just my advice. not that anyone here asked for it. sm4 sm6

Can I just ask OP, what's the big attraction to the 1.7? It's in the same tax band as the 2.0 360 and not as powerful, and it has a chocolate propshaft. You'll be waiting a long, long time for a 3dr 1.7, perhaps you should give some indication of how much cash you want for your 120hp 340.

If you have a 1.7 out of a 480 turbo (not sure if its the same system as the 440turbo) you only need an ECU, i believe there called "richmod" ecu's - designed by a gezzer on one of the 480 forums. Plug it in and instant 170bhp, cos 1.7turbo's rule. Not forgetting a certain legendary car that has awesomeness oozing out of every hole and crevice of the car had a 1.7 turbo supercharged engine producing nearly 600hp!! Any guesses? 8)

Coz I have only just passed my test and would coated me about 4k to insure one of them!!! It's the cheapest rwd car that I can insure with the most power lol sounds mad really hahaha but it's got to be rwd and I would be looking around the £1200 mark for the car but would like to keep the wheel really so a deal would have to be done with that!!

Why not, bare with me on this one  Buy yourself one of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1977-MK1-FORD ... 500wt_1287

There insurance group 2 compared to the insurance group 7 of the volvo's. They are extremely cheap to and easy to run/fix, if you ever need to. And if were to lower it, put some wheels on it you would probably double your money if you were to sell it on. I had one, there great little cars even though i only moved it around, its still fun to drive :D And you could stick the volvo on the drive, or in a garage for a year until you get your 1yr ncb under your belt, and then get it back out again? I love them, and when i take my volvo off the road for the "transformation" i'll definately buy another one to run around in  - Just an idea? You could call it a "temporary investment" :) Thomas.............
