LOL, indeed, it's the same for Andy with his A/C, well was until a slight issue with an A/C hose yesterday. It'd be nice to have, I do envy you!

How much they take from coolant refill there? I paid 70€ last time...I replaced one hose that was in a way of motor mount bolt.

It was an option on most cars, and was fitted to some special editions such as Andy's 360 GLE SE. There really aren't that many UK cars with A/C. It was quite a shock to see two at the BKV with aircon. I'd be very tempted to fit it if I came across a car in a scrapyard with it on, however it is a lot of hassle, but could be worth it for the couple of hot months here in the UK!

I really have been envious of Andy the last couple of days - it really isn't pleasant to be in a car in the weather we're having currently, I'd definitely pull the kit if I ever came across a scrapped car - how likely is that?!?

NOOOOOOOOOO. Bastards!

I have a kit en-route from Austrailia. As far as I can tell, all Aussie 360s got A/C.

cheers

ok so where do you go in Aussie to get an A/C kit? after this week that would be my next move (now I have sinned and put Mk2 Alloys on my Mk3 360  )

You need various parts from all over...I've got some bits from the US (for example combined AC/PAS pump brackets), and some bits from some of the Turbobricks guys down under.

If you'd seriously be interested, we might be able to work out some sort of deal involving me obtaining the parts, and Andy fitting/gassing it, as he's a bit of an A/C legend, and has plenty of 360-specific tools - it's a bit of a wierd system by modern standards. I'd get ready for it to cost a small fortune though, be warned. I'm working on the basis that it's all original / fits nicely, and still costs less than an aftermarket system.

AC, cruise, major sound insulation and I think the 360 will make a nice daily driver.

cheers

Well by the sound of it I would have some time to save up I guess, and since I am a new(ish) parent the chance of me buying another car in the next few years is about zero, so why not try to fit some nice 'extras'.

Yep I could be interested in that - providing the price does not go insane :D
