The body I have for my car is beautifully restored.
I am going to transplant everything from the old body to the new one.
I have a spare rear axle and some oversized shoppingcart wheels to keep the body mobile, but those will stay under the new body untill it is resprayed, fitted with a custom made steel "bodykit" and ready for the suspension to go on. That is likely to take another year or so...
The old body needs some welding done but if you can weld yourself that should not be a problem.
Welding required:
Front wings
Rear bottom ends behind the wheels.
Steel around the rear quarter windows
Rotten parts:
The jack supports (2 out of 4) and surrounding sills.
Joint of the "X" behind the rear seat.
There may be some other parts but the car is not totally naked yet...

You can drive a car which has radiator at back in summer too if it is planned good. But it's not so simple system to build and get working because pipings etc... needs to be correct size and lengths and all needs to be calculated accurately so no cavitation etc... will exist. And you also need good air supply for radiator and some good fans. The rally cross 340 which Volvo raced at 70´s and 80's had rear mounted radiator. I have seen cars with big block V8's which are driven at the street with rear mounted radiators so it will work if it is correctly planned and built.

I have seen race cars with the rad rear mounted at the back of the car. To get it to work well you need to make full use of the depression to draw air through. Can work well but need plenty of time working everything out correctly.
