Sounds about right.

I'm not looking to make my first million out of selling second hand AC systems...I'm not that much of a dodgy geezer

...but it goes without saying that shipping isn't cheap, and the parts aren't free. I'll see how my installation goes, and we'll take it from there.

Wiring diagrams...for AC? Do share! Although I think I already have them...hmm..must check that one! I think Andy was referring to the hose-line connections rather than the electrics. Later pumps (I nearly wrote pimps there....) had proprietary connections.

I've got the diagrams somewhere I think. Adam, yeah, it should work, thats what I'm doing in Kar, and why I've been trying for ages to get a snowflake button, the rest I'm going to bodge from other cars, mainly the 400 system. Problem is, the 400 A/C is almost as rare as the 300 setup. Not quiet though, which is why I'm still chasing it!

Foggy, any chance this dude can get an extra snowflake button in your package?

Adam's not the only one with wiring diagrams

and don't forget James, I gave you the green book for A/C and that has the wiring in the back of it IIRC.

Yes, it occured to me later that Adam probably doesn't have anything beyond what's in the green book.
