If you do scrap it, at least take the gauge cluster out of it and net yourself £50...

It's a very quick job, half an hour at the most with a few screwdrivers! If you do have to scrap it, do rescue the 6 dial dash and the manifold tapping ...

EDIT: sorry, the T-piece if yours has a carb ...
I don't know if the ambient temp sensor can be removed quickly without taking the bumper off (if it's in it's original position).
