Yeah, the switches should be easy enough.

The 83 GLT will have the old-type 2 bolt mounts. Not sure about the GLS. I'll see what I can do about removing those.

cheers

Thanks Foggy, let me know how you go and how much you want for them. :D

EDIT: Just thought of something else, if you have one...the rectangular cover that's inside the hatch, covering the boot latch - doesn't matter what colour it is as I can change it with vinyl dye. sm4

I'll have a chat with the new owner of the 1988 GLT (which is being scrapped, but will be enjoying a near-complete stripdown, I suspect) to see if he needs the driver's seat. If not, you can have that (and the whole rather nice GLT interior, probably!). If he does need it, I can hastily remove the driver's seat from the GLS and throw that in.

I think those are all black, Figgy. They're a favourite for busting, so I'll see if any of mine are any good...

RWD...no problem. I usually say £10 for a rear light cluster, plus £5 postage. I'll chuck an indicator in for free with it. Do you need a mk1/2 cluster (1976-1985), or a mk3 one (1986-1991)?

Something else for my rapidly growing list if you have one, an instrument panel surround in good nick?

It looks blue in the pic, but is actually dark grey/black, but colour doesn't matter so much, vinyl dye will take care of that.
Once you start thinking about it the list could be never ending!

Yeah, I can do one of those. They only ever came in black. That one is knackered!

That's excellent Foggy....that one is even more knackered now, the left side has a big piece missing. Ah the joys of the Queensland sun!

Other thing that I forgot...... I could use a front grille too, or if not a whole one, then the diagonal stripes that fit either side of the grille badge. I'll PM you with my contact details so we can organise this and I'll plan a trip down to Newcastle to tie in with your schedule.

What sort of grille are we talking about? mk2 or mk3, and chrome surround or black? I'm sure I can sort you out with one, either way.

My visit to Newc'astle will be a flying one (I've got to get home again!), but I'm sure we can meet up. That reminds me, I need to get on with talking to John about schedules...!

Ok, cool. Well at the very least I can get you a GLT grille (black surround) from which you can raid the slash. Hopefully I can find a standard one, as it seems a bit of a shame to have a (relatively desirable) GLT one when you don't want it for its GLT-ness!
