Not to me really, but what about a rallyist like your mate JasonB? I must admit a high ground clearance makes a car more fun, just it looks uglee.

Au contraire.
Rally cars have a nose up stance and look looverly.

Drag cars have a nose down stance and look,well.., like a drag car.

High ride height = fail. If I did enough off-roading maybe I'd have them, been loving the high up softness of my 740.

I don't frequent track days,Morrisons car park or Tesco's roundabout so am unaware of the obvious advantages a grinder and some aly blocks can give you.

With the extra damping it'll be 100% better than a stock 340.
An old pic from RR:

I'll admit it's mainly for the look, but lowering mine really took the sloppiness out.

Lowering for the look, damping for attacking hot hatches. I just think cars look stupid at standard height. However I suppose you're inclined to disagree (cherokee, dayvan, F350, lombard special).

Ironically, the first lad at my school to pass his test was a lad called Kevin Chrome.
He took everyone home.
Took ages like.
He only had an mg metro with the back seats taken out.
And about twenty three mates.

Anyone buying this?
Nah, didnt think so.

He was actually called Gavin Parkinsons.
But thats only half as amusing.

No new unit as yet, could really use one as my forecourt has become a recycling depot for lambrini bottle fragments. (or bella brusco according to one label, if you can't afford lambrini you might as well drown yourself).

I think we could quite safely replace the words 'cant afford' with the phrase 'want to drink' there and sort out most of Sunlins problems. Specially if the drownings are mandatory.

You could use 1.5" blocks, but I'd say keep things level with a 2" drop. Mine seemed flat and level dropped 2 at each end, though some people have gone 3" front/2" rear for some reason. If the roads around your way are particularly horrendous, you might have to take it easy and watch out for sump contact. It's not a massive issue, just that the right combination of bumps could bash the sump off the deck if you're hammering it.
