Loved it last time it was up,
timing hutrs quite bad this time round.
wouldve snatched it like a shot if I hadnt already bought the mk three million door.

Someones gonna be VERY happy with this like.

*edit- Forgot to point out. As we all know, these nice old mark 2s dont drift. Due to er, weak bearings etc .
So any potential DriftorZ will be better off with a scabby 340 1.7.

This is a georgous car, which I wanted to buy last time round. If I had the cash, I would be there like a flash this time and would sell both my current cars, my wife, my mother and the dog to get my hands on this. I would even swap my beloved Viva HB estat, which is so rare. Whoever gets this car is getting probably one of the best 360 glt cars that is in existence. Where in the country is it located now?

Car is in Inverness, scottish highland. Has rust under the battery which will be welded for MOT. Also rust to nearside front wing near the bottom which may or may not be repaired. A few specks here and there - will try to get pics up soon.

Been busy - test will come, but don't have time to prep it myself - so off to an honest garage to have the wheel bearing and welding done hopefully next week. No tax and my insurance has expired so I can't put any on either.

Now with 12 months MOT. But the diff is humming. I thought it was a wheel bearing, but the MOT guy took it for a test drive and is pretty sure it's the diff.

So - I need a new diff for an '84 360 - anyone know what ratio that would be?

Will swap a pair of 360 engine mounts, an ambient temp gauge + sensor for a good diff and I'll pay the postage difference - anyone?

but, the only way to be absolutely sure is to disassemble the driveshafts and then check the wheel bearing again.

Okay, thanks - so I need a 3.64 final drive diff which is known to be good, swap for rare parts or cash but preferably the former.

Can't tax it because got no insurance. Will look into temp insurance if you're serious, but you pay for the disc.

Towbar included but not fitted - no ball and no electrics.

Okay, get in touch when you know either way. Hole in the front wheel arch is still there - MOT didn't seem to notice it even though I told him about it.
