I'm still wanting the two gaskets with washers - but I would personaly rather pay a bit extra for the SS bolts. Is this still goingto be possible mac or do I need to order my own?

Cheers
Dai

Hi Dai,

The situation re s/s capscrews is as follows:-

The best deal I can seem to get at the moment is a minimun qty of 200 for just over £33.00 by the time p&p and v.a.t. is added my 'bought in cost' would work out at about £2.50 for a set of 10. (this would push the kit cost to £7.50).

I have 300+ BZP 12.9 setscrews 'in stock' but if there is enough call for S/S I can buy in and supply instead. (What I don't want to do is get stuck with a pile of capscrews I'll never use). My concern was to keep the kit price as low as I could but if everyone would prefer S/S (and I can 'shift' 20 sets) I'm quite happy to go that route.

If only one or two bods would go for the higher cost I would prefer not to spend another £50.00 on stock I might never move. (my investment so far for a mix of 25 kits and 25 gaskets is already £130 + (I won't need to outlay p&p except for firm orders)).

[/u]People - let me know your thoughts.

Back to the A12! - Thanks for the kind thoughts re my father-in-law chaps. (doesn't look too good at present I'm afraid - the BIG C - but what will be will be! and there is always hope).

Mac.

If there was the option, I'd pay the extra, but I know exactly where you are coming from mate.

Best wishes for your father-in-law Mac. I hope he finds the strength to battle it.

As for the kits, they look fantastic, very professional. I'd not mind the extra cost in all honesty for S/S capscrews, but I too can see what you're saying. £7.50 still isn't expensive for a kit that isn't produced in huge numbers, that cannot be obtained from the stealership, so I'm more than happy to pay the extra.

Superb job Mac! Despite having far more important things on your mind you're keeping things running on the gasket front. I'd hope everyone understands any delays and that people support your work and the appreciate the effort, time and outlay that has been put into it. I need to take stock of my current situation, get the vehicle on the drive, then I'll get at least one set on order mate!

Hi there Dai,

Not including your order = 8 - 5 to a certain rally bod, 2 to Denmark and one other. (actually with all that's going on at present - Debs dad passing away, an estate to sort, probate, tax vultures etc. gasket sales have been pretty low down in the thought processes at present).

I'll PM you ref. your order.

Mac.
