Anyone after one of these? Mine is now surplus to requirements following the B230FK swap.

It's a great engine with no visible smoke/rattles etc. Pulls very strongly and very rarely taken any higher than about 4.5/5K revs by me as there was just no need. The midrange torque delivery never failed to amaze me given the relatively low BHP. The term pulls like a train really does apply here.

Comes with:
Stromberg CD175 carb in good working order
Very recent downpipe (was the best part of £40)
Recent fuel pump
Airbox
Renix unit
Recent service etc.
Viscous fan
Flywheel/clutch
and whatever else I can find. (should the above be requried anyway)

The only things 'wrong' are it has a B230 sump and oil pick up loosely fitted as I needed the B19 stuff. Swap these for the correct ones and you're away.

I am the second owner of the car, the first surprisingly being an old boy, so it's been looked after. The car lay dormant in said previous owners garage for around 15 years before I purchased it!

I have ran the car with that engine for over 1.5 years with no major issues. i stripped and cleaned the carb and fitted a new fuel pump and it has been awesome ever since. never missing a beat! MUCH better than the turbo lump I replaced it with! lol

So, anyone interetsed, say £100? Open to offers and may be able to deliver/can arrange a courier if required.

If this is too pricey, let me know as I have no use for it anymore and would like it outta here!

I haz picz of this lovely low compression engine that would suit a turbo down to the ground. lol

and the jazz to accompany it. As above post but also includes fan shroud, acc cable, choke cable, crank position sensor, clutch with plenty life left in it and some other bits and bobs.
I forgot that we have cut the flange off the downpipe. Easily sorted though.

Someone take this fine piece of red block engineering off my hands. 340pw

Hi Liam.
Don't send it there ,for gods sake. Someone will need this someday.
Stick it in a corner with a blanket over it if it does't sell.
Thats how you got your motor, remember.
Hope you sell it.
Cheers Mark. sm4

Cheers Mark. I don't have the room for it to be lying around in all honesty mate!

Especially as come a month or two the 360 will be in bits. Space is at a premium!

If I was making a coffee table it would have to be at least a straight 6 block. lol

theo, yeah I could sort that out mate. Where are you? It may be cheaper and easier for me to deliver it if I can.
Also, cash is king and all that.

Liam.

I'm awaiting quotes atm on this mate. I have a request on Shiply. Just waiting for their prices to come down a bit.

I'd guess at £70/80 being about the right price to ship an engine on a pallet.
