I'm not kidding when I say you'll probably never see another complete set for sale, you'd likely have to collect all the parts bit by bit. These are very thin on the ground. I should say, the gauges and sender are to suit a 360 only, but the panel would fit any 300.

Given the crazy rarity and perfect condition I'd like to see £125 for this lot, else I'll use it all on my upcoming redblock build.
This the sender for both gauges? and fit's independente of the motor type? 1.4, 1.7 or 2.0?

That's the oil pressure sender, you need another sender for the oil temp as far as I know.

That sender works for all engines, the brass adapter screwed on to it is different depending on which engine you have.

I'm not sure which gauges I do have. But a link would be awesome.

This is a post I put on VOC

"I found VDO themselves are the cheapest but they charge an admin fee so become one of the most expensive, the guy at VDO said to buy it from Mardigras Motorsport. So checked them out and it was more expensive, so told them the VDO quote without admin fee and they beat it and it arrived two days later.

The part number is VDO 360-081-030-086C (warning light comes on at 0.5 bar) or the one I got cause it was about £10 cheaper and the only difference was the warning light is 0.4 bar this number is VDO 360-081-030-049C you can also buy the 049C from demon tweeks

Fitting instructions for the 340/360 can be found here

http://www.volvo300mania.com/uk/foru...hp?f=37&t=3855

That should give you an idea of how to wire it in.

Yes it needs two terminals."

Pretty sure that is the same one as Mardi gras Motorsport seem to have increased there price quite a bit, however you would need to ask demon tweaks if it is twin terminal as it only shows one in the photo.

foggyjames wrote:The OEM temp sensor replaces the sump plug, but you could fit one elsewhere. If you're not bothered about the precise thread, they're pretty cheap. If you want the exact OEM one, it might cost a bit more. I keep meaning to look up the correct VDO part number. I got my temp sensor in a Volvo-branded gauge kit so I don't know the part number, and it doesn't say on it.
Do any of you guys know which part number I need to look out for? I went for a cheap oil change recently, and the garage damaged my oil temperature sensor in the sump plug  Some things you really need to do yourself.

Cheers

Mac's post from 2006 sounds helpful as usual: VDO 323-801-012-003D for the 360 sump plug thread M18x1.5
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3436&start=15

I think I'll give that a try ...

One more example of why a forum beats Facebook any day :-)
